The Villages and Orlando Airport

The Villages sits about 60 miles northwest of Orlando International Airport – about an hour and fifteen minutes by road, down the Turnpike from US 441. There is no scheduled service that runs it, and it is well outside the range of the shuttles that line up at the terminal. What works is a car booked in advance: it arrives at your door at the time you set, and it goes straight to your terminal.

Most of the trips we book here start at home rather than at the airport. You have an early flight, you would rather not leave a car in a garage for two weeks or ask a neighbor to make a two-and-a-half-hour round trip at five in the morning, and a taxi this far out of Orlando is not a realistic option. A driver at the door at the hour you chose solves all three, and the flight home is booked at the same time so the return is already arranged before you leave.

Booked to Your Own Front Door

Enter your street address in the booking form the way you would enter a hotel name elsewhere on this site. A residential address is an ordinary booking – there is nothing special to arrange and no surcharge for picking you up at a house rather than a hotel lobby.

Two details are worth adding when you book, because they are what turns a simple pickup into a phone call from the gate at 5 a.m.: the gate or entrance your driver should use, and a cell number they can reach that morning. Both go in the special requests box. If you are booking on behalf of a parent or a relative, put their cell number there rather than your own.
